The Akwesasne Area Management Board is pleased to announce that there is an upcoming 12-week Pre-Employment training program beginning November 26th. Participants of this course will receive certifications that today’s employers want such as WHIMIS, CPR/First Aid, Food Handler and Mediation, to name a few!

Computer basics will be covered and also included is a 6 week paid work placement, in which participants will receive the support needed to be a successful member of the workforce.

The program will be held at the AAMB Employment Training Centre in Kanatakon and will run from November 26th to February 15th from 9-3. The deadline for applications is Friday, November 16.
