ST. REGIS COMMUNITY GARAGE SALE

St.Regis has set their date for the Community Garage Sale to happen Saturday June 10th! If you are looking to get on the map for the village and for St. Regis Road please contact the St. Regis Recreation's Facebook page or message Laura or Waves via Facebook. Maps will be posted and dropped off at the local stores in the village and St. Regis Road.

SRMT Hybrid Work Session

SRMT Tribal Council is holding their next Hybrid Work Session on Wednesday June 14th at 9:00 a.m. Observers can join the meeting in-person in Council Chambers or virtually by using ZOOM. The one-time registration link can be found on the Tribal Members' Portal. The observer’s agenda will also be on the Portal the Monday before the meeting. Akwesasne Community Fund Applications

The Akwesasne Community Fund Review Team, on behalf of the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne (MCA), is pleased to announce that applications to receive funding from the Akwesasne Community Fund are now available. Council has set aside a portion of the revenue received from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation to support various initiatives that might not otherwise receive government funding. The funding that’s been set aside is referred to as the Akwesasne Community Fund. Deadline to apply is Thursday, June 22nd at 2 p.m. The Akwesasne Community Fund guidelines and application forms may be picked up at MCA Admin. 1 (the “A-frame”), which is located at 12 Akwesasne Street in the District of Kaná:takon, or downloaded at www.akwesasne.ca/akwesasne-community-fund-application-callout-2023-2024/

Pride Month Celebration

June is National 2SLGBTQQIA+ Pride Month. Pride Month is celebrated in the month of June to honor the 1969 Stonewall Riots in Manhattan which was the tipping point for the Gay Liberation Movement. Throughout the month, the Safe Zone Committee will be making posts to educate and raise awareness for the movement. Bombay Father’s day Parade, Tractor pull and BBQ

The Bombay Fire Department will be holding a Father’s day Parade, Tractor pull and BBQ on Sunday June 18th. Event begins at 10 a.m. with a parade,and many other activities to join in on. We hope to see you at the Bombay Pavilion near the Ball Park on June 18th!
