Eat Clean & Get Lean Challenge

The Community Health Program is hosting an Eat Clean & Get Lean Challenge! This is not a diet, it’s a healthy eating makeover and lifestyle improvement. Starting MONDAY JANUARY 16 and running through FRIDAY MARCH 31 the A’nowara’ko:wa Arena will host a free Adult and Senior Skating Program. The free Skate Program will be held from 12-1:30PM, M-F weekly for anyone 21 and over

Starting TUESDAY JANUARY 10 and continuing until THURSDAY MARCH 16 Aaron Jock will host the following fitness classes weekly. On MONDAYS Circuit Training will be held at the Kana:takon School Gym from 4:15-5:15 p.m. On TUESDAYS Dumb Bell Training will be held from 5-6 p.m. at the Snye Recreation Center. On WEDNESDAYS Core Strength will be held at the Snye Recreation Center from 5-6 p.m. and on THURSDAYS Circuit Training will be held from 5-6 p.m. at the Snye Recreation Center. Tribal Council Work Session

The Tribal Council Work Session scheduled for WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 8 has been CANCELLED. The next Work Session will take place on WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 22.

The Akwesasne Animal Society Needs Donations

The Akwesasne Animal Society is currently looking for donations of all kinds! Some items needed include; Clumping/Scoopable Cat Litter, Purina Kitten Chow, Adult Cat food, cat toys, litter pans, and Clorox clean up spray. Home Improvement Program, HIP Applications

The SRMT Home Improvement Program, HIP, is now accepting applications for the 2017 Fiscal Year. Applications can be picked up at the HIP office in the Community Building from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Deadline to submit is TUESDAY FEBRUARY 28. For more info call HIP at 358-2272.

Meatball Sub Fundraiser

On FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 24th a Meatball Sub Fundraiser will be held at the St. Kateri Center at 11 a.m.. Dinners cost $10 US/CND and include; Meatball Sub, Macaroni Salad, Dessert and Drink!
