Akwesasne Cancer Support Group 9th Annual 5 Mile Walk/Run

On Sunday MAY 7th the Akwesasne Cancer Support Group will host their 9th Annual 5 Mile Walk/Run at Generations Park - Tewathahitha Trails in Akwesasne NY, RAIN OR SHINE. SRC Class of 1964 monthly meeting

On Monday MAY 1st The SRC Class of 1964 will hold their monthly meeting in the dining room at the Bears Den Restaurant in Akwesasne NY, at 10 a.m. All classmates, spouses and friends are welcomed.

SRMT Home Improvement Program Meeting

On Wednesday MAY 3rd The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe Home Improvement Program invites Community members to a meeting at 6:00 p.m. Community Building Lobby. The program has the opportunity to apply for up to $600,000.00 under the Indian Community Development Block Grant program for their housing rehabilitation projects.  Public comments and input are welcomed.

SRMT Annual Tribal Caucus

On Saturday MAY 6th The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s Election Board will be holding the annual Tribal Caucus at 10:00 the Community Building lobby. There are three (3) positions open for nominations: one (1) Tribal Chief, one (1) Tribal Sub-Chief, and one (1) Traffic Court Judge. Ohero:kon 2017 fasting week Ceremony

Ohero:kon 2017 fasting week Ceremony will be held from Monday MAY 8th until Sunday MAY 14th with a Community Feast to honor all the initiates, and a canoe journey Sunday MAY 14th at 10 a.m. to take place at Tsiionkwanati:io (located on 37-C).
