Anowarakowa Arena Pavilion Grand Opening

On Friday JUNE 23rd the Anowarakowa Arena will be holding its Pavilion Grand Opening from Noon to 10 p.m. A ribbon cutting will kick off the day’s events. This event is sponsored by Bounce & Bounce, Kawenoke Recreation, CKON Radio, and MCA’s Community Health and Child & Family Services Programs.

BRUSHTON FIRE DEPT. ANNUAL CHICKEN BBQ AND PARADE

On Sunday JUNE 25th the Brushton Fire Department will have its annual Chicken BBQ and Parade beginning at Noon. There will also be a Flea Market, games and firefighters waterball.  For more information or takeouts please call 529-6007.

On Monday JUNE 26th The SRMT A/CDP program will be sponsoring a discussion about the twelve steps and how they can be beneficial on the road to recovery. This will be at the Office for the Aging in the sunroom beginning at 6:00 p.m.

NALOXONE TRAINING

On Thursday JUNE 29th the A/CDP will be offering free training on the Medicine Naloxone an emergency medicine that prevents overdose from opiate-based prescription painkillers and heroin.
